Ok, so its not really a VCR anymore, since I gutted it and threw a k6-266 in it. Now it's (will be anyway) dedicated networked mp3 box. What Im wondering is whats the best way to connect the play/stop/etc buttons? I was thinking a paralell interface, but I might need that for making pretty lights blinky when it is playing. A hacked keyboard could work, but that would involve hacking a keyboard, which im not so fond of doing, and I would still like to keep the keyboard plug available. Or maybe the gameport? Just looking for suggestions. I can post photos when its done if you want. Thanks!
