It works under Mandrake 8.2

Like many others here, I can't get the Sandisk Cruzer Mini to work under Mandrake 9.2 OR 9.1. It also doesn't work under the latest Gentoo..

The weird thing is, it works like a champ under Mandrake 8.2 , with the stock provided kernel 2.4.18-6mdksecure, which makes me wonder if something's changed in the kernel.

Just thought that might help someone. Fortunately I still have the 8.2 CDs. I'd return the Cruzer but I'd already tossed the packaging.

Yeah.....I had the same problem. Don't know why, but using supermount seemed to cause the problems....haven't really had them since I stopped using supermount....BUT IT'S SO NICE!!!

Anyone have a fix/idea?
