i installed my new samsung ml 2010 printer with these unified drivers available on samsung's hp.
they work fine as long as i print from my server itself. as soon as i try to use the printer over samba (rest of the net are windows xp workstations) i can install the printer, and print without any error. but the printer just stays still and does nothing.
even though its shared on samba, its listed under "browsed queue":

i hate these custom drivers, does anyone know if i could use some other driver which are installed with cups, i saw something about ml 1710 beeing compatible.

i tried to add it under cups as a standard gdi printer, but my try to print the test page didnt work, printer didnt do anything. also this error message was given :
"

"

some1 got an idea?
