Samsung CLP-320 driver

I've downloaded the Samsung Unified Linux driver, but this CLP-320 printer is not listed when I run the installation program. Will any of the other CLP drivers in the Unified driver work? Is there another driver available? I had no luck finding a ppd (CLP-320splc.ppd).

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I looked...

I found two models, a clp-320/xax and an/xaa, as well as a 320N. For the first, there is a driver and two other files for linux. Is this what you are trying to use? Click on "Driver"

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/do...s/CLP-320/XAA#

Did you install it and if so, what was the result?

Thank you, thorkelljarl. That driver works great.

HP Laserjet iip quits after Installing Samsung

Gees, now I have another problem:

1. I installed an HP Laserjet 2p printer (parallel port) and tested it out. It worked fine.

2. I installed the Samsung CLP 320 Colour Laser (USB port) and tested it out. It worked okay too.

3. Now the HP Laserjet no longer works.

4. When I uninstall the Samsung, the HP works again.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but the HP printer refuses to work. I even reinstalled PCLinuxOS. The HP works when I install the drivers but it quits again when I install the Samsung drivers.

Please help.
