same dhcppc error

hi
i ve connected two pc's with os fedora 4,
whenever i run any client server program it shows
no route to host.
what change should i do????

First change is make the post clear :>

No route to host can be due to any reason and your post should tell somethin about the setup , connection and what client/server program you are using.

Have you tried these

See if both PC`s have proper ipaddress configured
Ping from one pc to other
If the client server program is yours are u using the proper IP for communication.
Any firewall running in the PC?

ya firewall are working in both the pc's
internet is working fine, client server program is in c,
i am actually getting
connect: no route to host

Can you post the connect and listen part of your server client program
Also the ipaddress you are using to connect

One thing you can try meanwhile is this

Try to connect from client to server

Run a tcpdump on server listening to IP of client

tcpdump -l src Client_IP

see if any packets are coming into the server.
