Have you installed your kernel sources? And headers and libraries and all other related development stuff?

I have it here, but I'm just guessing it's a part of the kernel source files, so you'd be best to install them and you'll avoid any problems with requiring any of the files at a later date.
I think you'll find your graphics drivers install is patching and recompiling your kernel, so you'll need the source.
