rtl8187 wireless from all debian 9 iso's "not working for me'
i suppose there isnt any use mention what a ballache linux has become since uefi and grub development progressed, it used to be so easy...these days i struggle to copy a file between two computers with the way permissions are handled... oh and ffs, don't leave a usb in during boot or anything, jus' sayn' thas all...
I;ve tried three dvd debian installs, "firmware", "non-free" and "normal" trying to get a rtl8187 wireless usb running....
I've spent a bit of time doing this, now i have to spend some more time f'ing with a usb to get the outputs over to here....add that to the effing login and search it really washing up a ridiculous waste of time...
It's a rtl8187 AirLive WL1600USb on a 880-GMH LE/USB3 with a AMDII x2 255 3Mz with 1x 4G chip in first slot and 1x 2G in the second slot. bios says ram running in dual channel mode at 667, has gota' low-end 1g video card. Install havnt made a difference with the mismatched ram.
Anyway, i've tried and tried but none of these distro's work out-of-the-box but plenty other distros do work, including the jessie im on now...
anyway again, i gota do that fin'g with the outputs and usb, so ill update this post soon....
