Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Rotated monitor(s) with Xorg 6.8.1

I was thinking of replacing my 2 x 19" CRT's with a pair (or maybe 3) of 17" Flat-panels. I founf these nice Samsung TFT's that can pivot 90 degrees to Portrait mode. Was thinking that would be cool for dual-head!

I dont know enough about the Samsungs capabilities, does anyone know of the image rotation is handled by the monitor or must X handle this?

Cheers.
