Rose black monitor

This is not strictly a linux question but if anyone can answer this it would be great.

I'm shopping for a monitors and I see "rose black" in many of the descriptions. There are also "glossy black" and just plain "black" monitors.

I assume "black" means flat or non-glossy black and glossy black is obvious but does anyone know what the heck is "rose black"?

Thanks,

http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourc...8&q=rose+black very first hit there says it's "black with a bit of red" in the very first sentence.

The first hit is a gothic clothing emporium. )

I do see another hit. Now I'm not sure at all what they're referring to. I assumed they meant the screen itself but now I'm wondering if they're talking about the frame/enclosure. We have a bunch of Samsung P2350s with the black rose enclosures and now looking back at the listings it's only Samsung that says it's monitors are 'rose black.

I think this is resolved.

Thanks for the help.
