I am looking for a new laptop, and ended up at the Rock Direct pages. Found two of their models interesting, the Pegasus 665 models and 335, and the Mobeus 13, since I am looking for a small and powerful laptop... (Open for other suggestions though, as long as they ship to Norway..)
One question though.. They deliver their machines with "Digital DVB-T External USB, non MCE". I contacted their sales department, but they could not give much info about that TV-tuner. As they stateted; "The TV tuners aren't from any big producer, they are rock branded and we do not officially support Linux."
Anyone know if it will work natively under Linux?
Maybe someone also have some inputs regarding their Pagasus models and maybe also the Mobeus 13.3"??

As with most hardware it depends on the chipset the dvb-t device has. This is the best place for info http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page . Unless rock can tell you the chipset or even the original manufacturer before you buy then you might just have to take a chance.
Well, I really do not want to take a chance on it working. That is why I posted here, assuming that somewhere amongst the LinuxQuestions users would be an Rock Direct Laptop owner.
I was kind of hoping that they could supply me with the info regarding what chipset they used, but they couldn't..
