RivaTV + Tuner Card = Problems... help please!
 

Hey, so here's my situation.

I'm running RHFC2 on my computer with a GeforceFX 5600 and a Hauppauge PVR-250. The PVR 250 is assigned to /dev/video0.

I decided yesterday I also wanted to use the VIVO capabilities of the video card. I downloaded rivatv, ran make, then make install. The modprobe works fine, but if I check dmesg, the same error keeps popping up, something about video decoder device cannot be assigned.

I have a feeling that rivatv is having problems associating itself with any of the /dev/video devices. Unfortunately, I'm pretty new to linux, and am not entirely sure how these devices are assigned, or how to fix this issue.

Can I simply alias video0 rivatv like I can with eth0 to my network card in modprobe.conf? Also, I have to modprobe rivatv everytime I restart (which is not all that often), how can I make the module load automatically?
