Riitek RT-MWK03

I have a wireless mini keyboard which I am trying to get working in linux. Its a Riitek RT-MWK03

They keyboard works however the touchpad only seems to move about the x axis. Its stuck at the bottom of the screen. I don't know the model number of the touch pad. I've written the manufacturer but haven't got an answer. I was hoping someone had run in to this problem this before.

Hi,

I would suspect your touchpad driver. Look at logs such as: '/var/log/Xorg.0.log' and even 'dmesg' by 'dmesg |grep -i touch' from cli to help see what is going on. Do a 'lspci -vv' to hopefully identify the touchpad.

Well, I guess I solved it. When I loaded X I was root. Yes I know, you aren't supposed to do that but it was only twm, I was only using to varify the GUI was working.

Finally I made an account and tried it again and it works. So, technically there is still something wrong with root in X, however since root should not be in X I guess it's not a problem.
