RHEL 4 and Intel 82566DM Ethernet driver issues?

I have a Lenova/IBM ThinkCentre with an Intel 82566DM Gigabit ethernet card on it which does not seem to be working with RHEL 4 (Kernel I just installed the newest linux drivers from Intel (e1000 v8.0.1) and it still does not work. Any suggestions?

when i use lspci - it does not recognize the driver correctly.

shows : Ethernet controller:Intel Corp :Unknown device 10bd (rev 02)

Thank you,
