Question RH 9.0 and Soundblaster Live

Hi,

I have just installed RH 9.0 and everything is fine - except there is no sound from my SoundBlaster Live card.

I think it may have something to do with the built in soundcard on the motherboard. How do I fix this? Which setup file do I need to edit?

BTW: The volume is up :-)

what i always had to do in rh was change the sound card with the the the rh utility to use the sound blaster card and reboot. it was really weird cause if i ran the test sound with it supposedly using the onboard sound it would come out the soundblaster and vise versa. if the above doesnt work try modprove emu10k1 . if that works add emu10k1 to your /etc/modulesconf (something like that)
