RH 7.2 & video card - problems with openGL

Hello there,

I installed RedHat7.2 a while ago on Dell Pentium 4,
1.7Ghz machine.I have had a series of problems (OpenGL
based programs freeze including Inventor, Geomview) that
make me think that my video card (16 MB ATIRage Ultra
128) is not properly supported by 7.2.

Is there anything that can be done(patches? fixes?)?
According to RedHat webpage, ATI Rage 128 video card
should be supported by 9.0, but I am kind-a hesitant
to go through the upgrade unless completely sure that
it will work.

Thanks!
