Question resolve hard disk errors


Hi i am presently using Windows XP and my system bootup time has been increased much in past one month i hav tried many techniques but can't speed it up.whenever i check for my hard disk errors it shows that errors are present in hard disk BAD SECTORS.I would e happy if anyone help me in resolving that erroe using any tools in Linux i can boot my system from my USB with fedora 13.

@vinoth: While you're diagnosing and troubleshooting, be sure you're taking regular backups of your XP system. i.e. Your bad blocks may be writing on the wall. You might even consider taking a one-time image (and saving it to another USB device - or whatever) using Clonezilla.
