Removing my wireless card in Mandrake

I am a Linux newbie. I have got a Netgear ma401 wireless PCMCIA card that is detected by Mandrake 10 fine.

I foolishly rushed into the config file and entered what I thought were the right wireless details and when the PC rebooted- no light came on the card. In the start up commands I noticed it had something saying starting internet services and then some details on the card (prism 2).

In the hardware section, it is shown as eth1. Is there any chance I can remove the hardware in the control and start again? It dosen't appear to let you remove hardware like in windows control panel.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks
