Removed/Replaced CPU and now have blank screens?

I had to get my CPU model and part number to order a secondary one.

I took it out and then put it back and when I turn on the Computer
I get no output to the screen?

Any Ideas? I know I put it back perfectly...

If you see nothing at all (including no POST message) check your graphics card is seated correctly in the slot.

The output of "cat /proc/cpuinfo" wasn't close enough?

Were you using a static wrist strap? What is the humidity in your work environment? If you are in the northern hemisphere, in a place with a dry climate, you might have statically zapped the chip. Good thing you are ordering a replacement...
