Hi,

I'm new to this forum,

Looks very good :)

I have a guestion about my remote controller..

I dont use my pinacle tv card anymore, and i would like to connecct the remote control to my linux machine...


Sow I can start a linux command by pressing on a specific button on the remote....

the IR reciever is connected to my machine trough the serial port.

I'm running linux debian 3.0 woody with the 2.4.18-bf2 kernel...
Only console based...No X installed.

Do I need to install a driver? and with which application I can configure my buttons to a command?
