reliable network laser printer for an office

Can anyone recommend a reliable network laser printer for a small office (it will be used quite often)

Actually, it doesn't have to be laser - what's more efficient?

Obviously it has to work well with linux.

TIA

Sure, pick one from Hewlett-Package (H-P), get the Ethernet card for it if not provided standard, hook it it up and be happy. Pretty much every HP printer either already is supported in CUPS and, if not, the PPD files are provided with the printer. In my experience, H-P provides the most bang for the buck, are reliable, typically outlive your computer systems and H-P provides the best support for Linux and UNIX systems I've come across.

Laserjet printers are faster and more efficient (in terms of supplies you have to buy) than Inkjets. If you really need color, there are color Laserjets.

Take a guess at how many pages you print per day/week/month, whether you need color and pick one on that basis; probably want to add 10% to 20% to your guess, though...

Hope this helps some.

Thanks, I found this website
http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/recommended.html
and picked a fully supported printer.

What about a fax/scanner? Ideally, it would be a fax/scanner/photocopier in one. All the ones I can see are
printers as well. I'd like to have a separate printer and a fax/scanner/photocopier as one. I can't find anything like
that. Are there any solutions like that? If not, could anyone recommend a reliable scanner or fax/scanner or scanner/photocopier for linux?

TIA
