reinstalling x windows

hi
im trying to upgrade the hardware for my linux server.
im taking the hard disk in a pentium mmx sytem with 128mb ram and installing it in a pentium 4 system with 512mb of ram.
the new system works fine with the hard disk but i cant seem to start x windows
the error it provides is "fatal error no screens found"
i guess this is because it cannot find the drivers for the new vga card
ive tried upgrading the server to redhat 9.2 but still connot get xwindows to start any ideas?

Have you run xorgconfig or xf85config? What type of graphics card is in the new server?

go to the runlevel 3
remove the old configuration file of X from /etc/X11/
create the new one by running redhat-config-xfree86
then go to runlevel 5
hope this will solve ur problem
