I am using Mandrake 9.1 in my system All i have to say is that it is GREAT! The best Linux distro i have ever used !!! But i have a small problem . I have a Philips 109 S4 monitor and i get a low refresh rate using Linux , is there any way to increase it ? I searched everything in Mandrake Control Center and didn't find out where i can change it ... Any ideas ?

This would require editing your xf86config file (or whatever its called in Mandrake). Basically, it is the file that holds all of the variables for X, and one of the variables it holds is refreshrate. Jsut make sure when you edit it you dont set it higher than your monitor can handle. Its just bad, so don't do it. :P
