Reformatting hard drive

I installed my Linux distro using the entire hard drive. Is there anyway I can cut down the space it has used in order to install another distro without reinstalling the first distro?

Do some google research on a program called "fips" I'm pretty sure it will slice up a linux partition.

Also, the Mandrake 9.1 installation program has a VERY nice program for splitting up drives. Works on WinXP NTFS drives as well. Even if you're not installing Mandrake, can use the first part of the install to slice up the disk, then install whatever you want on the new slice.
