Question Redhat Linux 9.0 and ADM8511 USB HomePNA

Hi all,

well im new around here and found some posts about HomePNA under linux but still wondering how to get the link working under linux. At least RedHat recodniced my adapter correctly but it cannot activate the link.

The changes i made to my system is that the eth0 is now the external usb based HomePna adapter and the eth1 is my built in network card. The system tries to activate the link at the startup but it fails and says there is no link in usb adapter. I dont know what is the most used way in connect in HomePNA but the usb box is connected with RJ11 pnone socet though there is two of them on the box and also network card (10/100).

Could someone help with this one as the only problem is how to get the link working so that it would regodnice the RJ11 as active link nor the RJ45?

Greetings, Ramo/Viz
