Redhat linux 8 FS311 netgear driver problems


Hi !
I have been trying to configure my linux (redhat 8) to a new ethernet card (Netgear fa311) .
What do I have to do , I installed it and it set it detected it .
I have a broadband connection , Cable modem and a cable router through which my windows based pc is linked .
HOw do I make my linux machine get connected to the internet . I am pretty to new to this job , so would great appreciate your detailed email , if you get a chance .
