Redhat 9 and wlan-ng

I upgraded my perfectly functioning Redhat 8 laptop to Redhat 9 (d/led off of BitTorrent) and I tried running rpmbuild --rebuild --target i686 on the wlan-ng.src.rpm The operation seemed to compile properly but afterwards there was nothing in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i686. I found a directory called linux-wlan-ng in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/BUILD and tried a make config, make all make install but no dice. Anyone have some tips as to why I'm not able to rebuild rpms for Redhat 9? I've tried this twice BTW. Also, has anyone got a Prism2 based card running in Redhat 9?

Other than a select few who subscribe and those who warezed it, not enough people are running 9 yet to be likely to have experienced this problem. Sorry. I will play with building RPM's and see if I come up with something...

Yeah, I'm just confused on why rebuilding rpms results in nothing. The procedure I listed above results in nothing being placed in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i686 or noarch and any of the other directories. I guess I'll download the pcmcia source and then compile my own wlna-ng but the rpm method worked so well in the past Anybody else have input on this? I seem to remeber reading somewhere that Redhat 9 has Prism 2 support but using the native GUI configuration tool didn't work.
