Redhat 9 and WinTV Go! - problems with bttv

Hi folks,

I'm fiddling around with my first Linux-system, trying to set up a
DVR. I'm running Redhat 9, kernel 2.4.20-19.9 , using a Hauppage WinTV Go! analog TV card, and a Hauppauge WinTV NOVA digital TV card. The application I'm trying to start is tvTime.

I went through all the moves installing different modules. When I
finally came to the bttv-module the system refused to install it (see
message further on). I removed the digital TV card from the system in order to simplify the configurations a bit, but it still shows up in
the hardware listing.

Since this is my first time working heavily under the hood of a
Linux-system I feel rather confused! Could some kind soul please tell me what I should do next, and/or what I'm missing. All help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Zup

My lsmod-output looks like this:

[root video]# lsmod

When I try to add the bttv-module I get the following message:

[root video]# modprobe bttv

Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
