RedHat 9.0 SMP crashes in IOAPIC setup

I have a new Trenton Technologies XPT SBC (dual Xeon SBC with E7501 Nortbridge and ICH-3 Southbridge, Adaptec 39320R). It crashes when I enable IOAPIC in the BIOS.

It reports:

Enabling IO-APIC IRQs..
BIOS bug, IO-APIC #3 ID is 15 in the MPC table... fixing up 15. (tell your hw vendor)
BIOS bug, IO-APIC #4 ID is 15 ...
BIOS bug, IO-APIC #4 ID 15 is already used! ...fixing up to 1 (tell your hw vendor)...changing IO-APIC physical APIC ID to 1...
<0> kernel panic: could not set ID!

It runs Win2000 with no problems.

I tried upgrading to 2.4.20-28.9 but it didn't help and the Adaptec PCI-X driver R1.?.? also freaks out if I run uniprocessor. I tried upgrading driver but Adaptec RPM only goes up to 2.4.20.9 (2003-09-29).
