I installed Redhat 8 over a month ago and was able to get everything to work except for it to print using my Linksys Printerserver. I have tried several different settings with no luck until tonight.

Below are the steps that I took to make Linksys Printserver to work. I hope this will be of help to others that have been tring this.

1. Set print server to a static IP address
2. Open Prining under System settings
3. Click on New and the Forward
4. In the Queue Name box type lp1 and for Queue type select Unix Printer then click on the Forward button
5. In the box next to Server type in the IP address of the Printserver
6. In the box next to Queue type in lp1 and then click on the foward button
7. Select your printer and driver and then click on Forward and Apply
8. Click on the Apply iconat the topof the Printer Config screen and then when the window appears click o OK
9. Run test and you should be ready to go.
