lippy LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2003 Posts: 4 Rep:	Redhat 8.0 soundcard detected, and plays, but stops HI. I installed Red Hat 8.0 and my sound card was detected. It played the sound when i detect the card. I installed the new xmms to play mp3z and it played. then after a few songs it says: the sound card stopped working: not configured properly, or something else took it over... you know something like that. Sometimes it stops playing, but xmms keeps going, and the timer goes really fast. It is: Vendor Intel corp. Model 82801AB AC'97 Audio Module i10_audio Any ideas? Thanks.
