redhat 6.2 issue
 

help please .
Im using a redhat box with 6.2 on it
After a previous power supply explosion ive set up with new hardware.
The prob i have is that during booting the error : delaying eth 2 inialization appears and sometines says due to maybe bad module or irq error ..
Ive tried a different card and differnt pc both have same error.
If i disable eth2 it cleanly boots.
Through this the loopback device is ok...
Any1 ???????
The settings are correct in linuxconf its using eth2 for network and correct module is set ...
Any advice welcome

I have a similar problem with my USB controllers some of the time...one question though, have you thought about upgrading the OS on that system. RedHat 6 is great, but with these problems, an upgrade in at least the kernel could help.
