red hat on kt 880 with S-ATA HDD
I'm trying to install red hat 9 on my computer. I have a Gigabyte GA-7VT880 L, KT880, Socket A, Bus 400, ATX, AGP 8X / 5xPCI / Dual DDR400, U-DMA 133, S-ATA Raid, SB 6ch.&Lan on board motherboard and a hard drive with serial ata.
The problem is that at the instalation point, the drivers on the cd I have are not appropriate. Can someone who installed linux on a computer with S-ATA motherboard help me? It's urgent!!!! |

In your case its essential to find out what controller chipset the SATA drives will be on from the documentation you got with the motherboard, the computer or from the Gigabyte website before you go to the link I posted. |
