Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Recommendations for a new HTPC case

I'm planning a new MythTV platform.

I am looking for HTPC case recommendations. Easy, you may think, but there's such a number of them, I'm not finding it easy to decide. Here's the necessary spec:

It should be capable of supporting an ATX Mobo
Fitted with LCD display that is compatable with MythTV/LIRC
A volume knob would be nice but not critical
I want it to look OK, so a decent silver or black aluminium front is needed
Width about that of a standard VCR, height enough to hold a standard IO card vertically, depth immaterial (more or less!), but overall as small as possible within those limits.

As a hint, the Antec Fusion has the look and facilities I want, with the problems of only supporting a MicroATX, and now being out of production (I think).

Thanks for any help

The following are some in the US, so I am not sure if they are available in the UK.

ANTEC Fusion Remote Max
SILVERSTONE CW03B-MT
SILVERSTONE GD01B-MXR

They are the size of an A/V receiver.

I am thinking of getting the following for my HTPC/Server since it has enough room and it is small.

APEVIA X-QPACK2-NW-BK

I think modular power supplies should be used in small cases to reduce excess cables and increase air flow.

IMHO, MythTV is not reliable and it requires a TV guide to be used, so good luck using it.

Thanks!

I finally decided on the Fusion Max...didn't know it existed till your post..and they are scarce in the UK, but mine should arrive Monday...Let the system building begin!

You mentioned MythTV being a bit flaky, I've done some preliminary testing with it, with good results, but I'd be interested to hear your issues

Thanks
