1.2 GHz Athlon on a DFI AM75 mainboard, I have what appears to be too many devices on IRQ 5:
Code:
CPU0
0: 1858309 XT-PIC timer
1: 40 XT-PIC i8042
2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
5: 214270 XT-PIC uhci_hcd:usb1, uhci_hcd:usb2, Bt87x audio, bttv0
7: 2 XT-PIC parport0
8: 4 XT-PIC rtc
10: 645510 XT-PIC ESS Maestro, nvidia
11: 5940 XT-PIC acpi, eth0
12: 5402 XT-PIC i8042
14: 67093 XT-PIC ide0
15: 17187 XT-PIC ide1
NMI: 0
LOC: 0
ERR: 0
MIS: 0
It is affecting video and audio processes when polling the printer. There does not appear to be a way to force an IRQ in bios (the only option is to use an IRQ or not), is there a way to do so in Linux?
Thanks,
