Lyllo, tell us exactly whats plugged into each network card and the name of your dsl provider as well please.

Ok, we have two network interfaces, one is a Realtek-8139 (probably a pci card) and one is a SiS-900 (probably an onboard controller) that is not detected, which one is your modem plugged into?

the realtek one is the one recognized as the one to be used for the lan
the other i cant understand if is the onboard audio controller or the external ethernet card that i have...

a strange OS called MANDRAKE 9.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wandedring what was the problem?
i've not settend in bios BOOT MANAGER OS Plug&Play [NO]
it was not possible i became stupid!
