Sorry about that ADD question,
Oh! I read that as I was the one you thought had ADD! Never mind.

@tredegar

I will definitely try that next. Lubricating the fans. Thanks for all the input on my situation. I really appreciate it. Interestingly enough, I have been using the computer every single day since the 8th, and it has not powered off on me again without the battery. Maybe it is the battery still? I don't know. I will have to get it replaced and see. But it is probably overheating, but I don't want to admit that yet. Means I have to replace my laptop >.<

@Emerson

I am not trying to be a jerk, or unappreciative, because I do greatly appreciate your response and for your input, but I did not see any real advice in your first post. You suggested a reason why it was happening, but you didn't actually give me any advice. Not that I could see anyway... if I am mistaken, then I apologize, but I am fairly certain your first post in this thread was just an idea that you gave as to why this was going on... which I appreciate, very much so. I didn't address it though, and maybe that was your point with the ADD question. I should have responded, and for that I apologize that I didn't. But I checked my loads on my system, and I didn't see anything loading the CPU to justify it getting hot like that.

I did another sensors today, and this is what I got:

unr3a1@Unr3a1r00t:~$ sensors
k8temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
Core0 Temp: +70.0°C

unr3a1@Unr3a1r00t:~$

That's hot!
