RAID is clean but degraded and PV is removed

Hi,

From the mdadm, I can see that the RAID 1 array has been degraded. I don't see any I/O error but want to make sure how to check what went wrong and why the PV has been taken out of the array.

Personalities : [raid0] [raid1]
md1 : active raid1 sdb2[1]
1052160 blocks [2/1] [_U]

md2 : active raid1 sdb3[1]
972558912 blocks [2/1] [_U]

md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1]
3148672 blocks [2/1] [_U]
