raid card os problem

i have dell server with redhat5.2 installed on it. we just installed new raid card and setup raid1 in perc bios. when my system starts, it sees grub boot loader and gives fails to mount error. do i have to reinstall os after installing raid card?

If you've moved the location of the O/S disks Grub probably can't boot to them any more, you'll need to manually point grub to the new location to boot the O/S then you can edit your configuration. Sorry I'm not much of an expert, but thats where I would start.
