RAID 5 array no longer being seen by controller?

We are using an Adaptec 2810 Sata Raid controller. We currently have 2 arrays

1 80 gig RAID 1 (OS Centos 4.4)
1 1.8 tb RAID 5 (Data)

Over the weekend we had a crash and the OS would not even reboot. I was not involved physically so I cannot say for sure if the controller saw the
RAID 5 data array or not. I came in and replaced a drive and installed CentOS 5 on the OS array. When I did this I was instructed that the 2 drives for the RAID 1 were on the right (at least that was my memory, I probably screwed it up). I removed the two drives and went back to my desk. I realized they were 500 gig drives so I went back to put them back and get the two 80's. I may have put them back in the wrong slots. When I booted I the controller did not see the DATA array. Realizing I may have put them in the wrong slots I reversed them and rebooted. Same result. I have completed the OS install and installed the Adaptec Storage Manager. We tried forcing the array online but that did not work.

Of the two drives I interchanged one was part of the array and one was a blank spare.

Any suggestions on what I can do to make the controller see the array?

Thanks

Doug

SOLVED... sort of. Had to get Adaptec support on the line (very good support I must say so). They had me install a brand new bios that was just released on Monday that has a raid recovery feature/trick in it. I did not need it as this version of the firmware saw the the array and let me force it online (previous version would not even see it and Adaptec Storage manager could not force it online).
