RAID 1 with MegaRAID PCI0649

Hello.

I have PCI0649 RAID controller with two 80GB Maxtor disks. I should make RAID1 disk array and install RedHat 9.

So far I managed to make RAID1 disk array.

How do I configure RedHat so that there would be only one disk (/dev/md0)? Do I have to use Software-RAID?
