Raid 1 confoguration on a Primergy TX150 S4

Hi!
I´m an absolutly newbie with Raid technologie. I've just bought a Primergy TX150 S4 from Fujitsu with lsi 53c1020a as SCSI controller, 2*300GB u320. I would like to installe FC4.

I was surprised to see that there is almost nothing in the documentation about linux. I really have no clue how I am supposed to configure all this as RAID1.

Is there any configuration utility?
Do I have to make a floppy?

As far as I've understood, I can't just configure the RAID1 by installing Linux, am I right?

I would really appreciate any help.

I would really appreciate any help! Can anyone answer at least this question: May I configure RAID1 by just installing Linux, or do I have first to make the configuration with the help of a configuration utility?

Thanks for helping a newbie.

I believe that configuring Raid has nothing to do with the operating system
When the system powers up it shows something like "press Control-? to configure SCSI or RAID", or something like that...
Have you seen anything like this when starting the machine?
Some HP Proliant servers require their smart-start disk to lead you to this utility. I don't know about fujitsu..
Anyway, i think that configuring Raid has nothing to do with the O/S..

There is no message while booting but I found an array manager and I hope it'll work so.
