Radeon x1600 xt on Vectore 5.8 "fuzzy display"

i know the monitor is good, no problems like this on windows partition. the auto adjust feature on the monitor makes the window extend past the viewable area on my screen which leads me to believe its the xorg.conf file? ive been searching around for how to set it properly but my nubness prevails :/ the display is also fuzzy. posting my xorg.conf
