Unhappy Radeon 9200 TV-Out No Colour

I'm running Mythbuntu 7.10 on a Radeon 9200 trying to set up a media center PC. After a lot of work I've finally managed to get it working with just a TV using the open-source radeon driver. It is unfortunately still in black and white. I've read about making sure it's set to composite instead of component, but no one seemed to think it'd be a good idea to say how to do that. I haven't tested the s-video to composite cable yet to see if it was the problem (gonna when I get home) but I've met several other people on forums who had determined the cable was not at fault and still had the colourless screen.

In addition, video acceleration does not seem to be working on the TV. Whenever I try to play a video all I get is a black box (or screen if it's fullscreen playback). I'll post my xorg.conf when I get home if that'll help.
