Radeon 7000 acceleration not working in SuSE 9.1

I have just installed SUSE 9.1 Pro. After spending ages trying to get X to work properly (in other distros i didnt have to, dissapointing!) i cant get 3d Acceleration on my ATi Radeon 7000 (VE). I go into SaX2, and select "enable 3d" under 3d acceleration, but after it saves the settings and restarts X, YaST reports that 3d is disabled, and 3d games wont run?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your quick reply. This looks like its only for newer Radeon cards, not the Radeon 7000. However, I did get it to work. Turns out the 3d acceleration works anyway, even though it says its disabled.
