quick question about ide driver

In my boot messages i have the following line:

ide: Assuming 33Mhz system bus speed for PIO modes; override\ with idebus=xx

Now for my assumtions:
the 33Mhz is ide speed (I have a UDMA133 controller).
So I should override with: idebus=133
and I'm assuming that idebus=133 is a kernel argument that i will just add to lilo.conf where I have: hdd=ide-scsi

does this all sound right to you or am i about overclock something to death?

thanks

i wondered about this myself

hdparm enables dma

i think i'm right in saying that PIO mode is like DOS level
and so would be expected to be 33mhz

there are several good threads on this in this forum
