Quick question about CDrom drives in mandrake 9.1
I'm just wondering, is there a way to make the cdrom drive on my secondary slave my primary cdrom drive on linux, instead of the drive on my secondary master? The reason I need this is because I have my cd burner on my secondary master and when mandrake asks for an rpm from the cds, the OS always crashes when I try to have the burner read the cd. Thank you for your time.

if your fstab is using somthing like /dev/cdrom then you could just 'ln -sf /dev/hdd /dev/cdrom'
Post your /etc/fstab if you still need help. |
Oh yeah duh, I forgot all about fstab, whoops. Thanks for the reminder! Take care.
