quick nic module question


one of the nic's in my slackware box died the other day so i went to get a new one today.

i picked up a sitecom ln-020, cause it was cheap and the box says its linux compatable. only thing is i dont know what module to use. i checked the hcl, and its not listed, i google'ed but no luck either.

anyone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to LQ!

Did the nic come with a CD? If so, and the box says "Linux
compatible," then you'd assume there's a driver on the CD.

And you should go to their website. The answers are there,
but since the rules state, "Do not expect LQ members to do
your homework - you will learn much more by doing it yourself,"
then I'll let you. But I will tell you, the answer is on the web
site for Sitecom...

10 seconds on google says it's a tulip based card.

yeha i checked the cd, nothing.

acid_kewpie, i didnt find anything on google, i checked sitecom's website which pointed me in the right direction, should have thought of that.
