Questions installing HPT 374 RAID in RedHat ES3

I have RedHat ES 3 (2.4.21-32.0.1.EL) installed on a GA-7VM400 with Athlon processor. I am trying to install a Highpoint RocketRAID 374 card and am not sure how to install the drivers. On the HPT site, I found drivers which are supposed to work with RH 7-9, but Enterprise isn't mentioned specifically. Are these still likely to work?

If they will, I am still not sure what to do. The Installation PDF from HPT talks about finding the directory which contains hpt374.o which matches my system, but after I unzip the files, I wind up with rhdd-athlon.img instead. I do not know what to do with the .img file??

Any suggestions?
