questions about IBM x330 1U SERVER
 

hello, everyone! there is the question. what's the difference with"DUAL PIII 1.4GHZ CPU" and "TWO PIII 1GHZ CPU'S" thanks.

So far i think, if you use a dual processor, they will take more load. I mean a single machine with dual pross can handle more load than a single pross. But if you use two single pross machines, you'll have to set us a load balancing or clustering for getting the performance. Think, You have 4 hands instead of 2. So you can do more work. But if you have 2 hands, but you want to finish the work in the same time, you'll need another person with 2 hands for helping you. It's only a proposal.. there are many factors behind them... like RAM, HDD, RAIDs, etc...
