After pluging a Huawei 3G CDMA2000 EVDO USB card EC1260 into Cavium MIPS64 CPU USB port,I run the ppp dialing application, got the below hint, and can not dial ok.

Since you do not give any indication of which GNU/Linux distro you are using, I will point you to a set on instructions on the Linux Mint community forum. You might be able to adapt them to your distro.

MIPS64? So we're talking embedded here. It's important to check the first reported error. I don't think you need a dma to dial up, which can be done over a serial link.

You have hit what is a known problem. Fire up google translate, google for that error (ChHltd. . . . . 0x06000021), and read some of the threads on it.
